I am obsessed with the beauty in this dark world. In my photography I enjoy capturing landscapes, moments, and self-portraits. My photos of are inspired by someone's experience or my point of view. You see my some of my work below!

"The Blue Dusk"

This was captured on the coast of Mississippi. The title refers to the blue vista of the land.

"Peace, Be Still"

This was captured on Mrytle Beach. The title refers to the moment Yeshua calmed the storm. I imagined the moment was as calm as this picture.

"Beauty in the Struggle"

This is an environmental worker at Lane College. He agreed to let me take pictures of him working. In retrospect, his humble demeanor, sense of care, and rich melanin seethed beauty.

"Children of the Ghetto"

Our children are exposed to excessive trauma. This is a photo of a little boy crying walking past his home that was damaged due to a shoot out resulting in the compromise of the structure.

"Reach the Sunshine"

One of my friends wanted to go clear her mind and watch the sunset on one of the downtown buildings in my home town. She had been going through a lot, so I asked her how she felt and she said, "I want to jump and reach the Son (sun)." She was referring to reaching Heaven or leave Earth, but also he desire to jump because of her suicidal thoughts.

"Israel"

For years I felt Yahweh say the name "Israel" to me. He is referring to Jacob in the Bible who's name changed to Israel. Jacob wrestled with Yah until he was blessed, but Yahweh would not bless him until he let his past self go. Yah has done the same with me. Until I grew and let go of my past, generational curses, and took initiative, I could not evolve into the man I am supposed to be.
